10/108 of What will Be

The process of attending to the mind is so difficult and yet so liberating.  When you stop to realize how much conversation you have with yourself throughout a day it’s astounding! I do feel like it’s a bit of constantly counseling yourself to “shut up and stay focused”.  It has occurred to me on several occasions today that the public must think I have turrets or am somewhat psychotic.  That’s OK.  Just working on cleaning the big house…my mind.

Patanjalis’ Yoga Sutra 1>14 as translated by Sri Swami Satchidananda…”..it is not only how long you practice, but with what patience, what earnest and what quality also.”
